Dance

Sacred dance is an important part of worship at Damascus UMC. During Advent, Lent, and at other times during the church year, dance and movement are shared with music and scripture to add meaning and beauty to worship. Moving Message, the liturgical dance ensemble at Damascus UMC, is currently without a director, though individuals continue to share on special occasions. Anyone interested in sharing in or directing a liturgical dance group is encouraged to contact Polly Edmonds Baldridge, Director of Music, at redheaders@verizon.net.
