Boundaries Small Group
Have you found yourself wondering how you can set limits and still be a loving Christian person? Would you enjoy knowing when to say "yes" and how to say "no" to take control of your life? "Boundaries" is a 9-week curriculum that presents a Biblical view on how to live a healthy life while setting appropriate limits for yourself and others. This course helps with establishing good relationships while taking ownership of choices, freedom, and responsibilities. In this course we will learn how to set limits without feeling angry, resentful, or guilty. In setting healthy boundaries appropriately, our Christian lives will flourish with greater intentional clarity.

Bread and Broth Lenten Bible Study
Prayerfully consider joining a Bread & Broth 6-week Lenten Bible Study this 2012. Each week, a different kind of soup and bread will be served as we study the lives of Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Elisha, John the Baptist, and Jesus. Recipes are provided for the soup and bread of the week.
Attendees will take turns preparing the "Bread & Broth." This Lenten study will be held at a day and time most convenient to the attendees.

Disciple I and Disciple II Bible Studies
Have you been planning on taking a Disciple Bible study some day? Hundreds of DUMC members have done so and continue to witness to its positive spiritual impact on their lives. Consider being a part of Disciple Bible this winter with Pastor Walt Edmonds as he prepares to lead these much-loved studies during his last appointed year at Damascus United Methodist Church.
Pastor Walt will be teaching two Disciple Bibles studies. Disciple I Bible Study covers 2/3rds of the Bible and will begin on Thursday, March 1st from 4:30-7:30pm. Disciple II Bible Study focuses on the books of Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts, and will begin on Monday, February 27th from 4:30 - 7:00pm.

Spiritual Gifts Small Group class
Pastor Linda Motter is presently forming a short-term (3 sessions) Spiritual Gifts class. Through this personal exploration, you can discern how to best serve and live by using your God-given gifts and talents in a way that is more life-giving.
