Upcoming Circle Meetings
- The Susanna Wesley Circle will meet Monday, February 13, 2012 @ 10:00 a.m. in the DUMC Dining Hall.
- The Esther JOY Circle will meet Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 7:30pm in the Library of the church to make Valentines for the homebound. Everyone is invited to come and help!
- The WWJD Circle will not hold a meeting for February, but will help with the Madrigal Dinners on both Friday, February 17th and Saturday, February 18th.
Other Important Dates to Remember
Thursday, March 1st: Executive Board Meeting at 1pm in the Library. All officers should attend.
Saturday, March 24th: Spring Turkey Oyster Dinner and Bake Sale, from 12 noon until? We need help! Volunteer where you are able.
“Shampoos for the Center” Help Women in Need
The Damascus United Methodist Women (DUMW) have a new outreach program to help women at the Montgomery Avenue Women’s Center in Rockville. As you travel on vacation or for work throughout the year, please bring home those small unused bottles of shampoos and conditioners from your trip and place them in the specially marked “red” basket in the Narthex. The toiletries will be provided to women in need at this walk-in day shelter. DUMW contact: Vanessa Leiby at 301-253-2263.
