Funerals and Memorial Services

The clergy and Hospitality Ministry of Damascus United Methodist Church are privileged to provide an environment where the end of life is honored and celebrated in worship and fellowship. Funeral and memorial service arrangements can be made by contacting the church office at 301-253-0022.

Funeral Luncheons

Many funerals and memorial services at DUMC are followed by a funeral luncheon in our dining hall. 

Volunteers provide the food and effort in making the luncheon very special. 

If you would like to volunteer to help with our funeral luncheons, please contact Mrs. Joy Schwab at 301-253-3294.  Help is always needed for:

  • Set up

  • Serving / providing dishes

  • Clean up / washing dishes.
