Contemporary Worship

 

Join Us For Contemporary Worship - 9:30 am Sundays, Youth Chapel

If you are interested in experiencing contemporary worship at DUMC, please join us. A primarily youth-led contemporary worship service is being held during the 9:30 – 10:10 a.m. time frame on Sundays in the Youth Chapel. After the worship, our youth are experiencing adult-facilitated discussion groups. These groups are divided according to grade level.

Many people (youth and adults) are helping with this new endeavor.  A variety of gifted people are contributing - musicians (for the praise band that plays the contemporary songs), worship leaders (singers, people who lead the prayer), persons who offer the ‘talk,’ hospitality folk (to prepare and manage the drinks and light food) and audio techs (for the audiovisuals used to project words and images on the screen).
