Damascus United Methodist Church
Rooted in Faith, Growing in Love, Branching out into God's World
Love God. Love Everyone. All are Welcome. All Belong.

For more than 200 years, our congregation has been rooted in faithful commitment to God, the church, and our community. We are called to nurture disciples, train leaders, and share Christ’s love, continuing a legacy of faith that grows with each generation.

Love is the message at the heart of who we are. We seek to live that message by making room at the table for everyone, welcoming all as we grow together in faith. Through worship, service, and fellowship, we grow and deepen relationships with God and with one another.

We strive to connect with our local and global neighbors, building relationships that reflect Christ’s love. Through hospitality, service, and outreach, we welcome others while expanding DUMC’s presence in the online world, reaching people wherever they are.
Sundays at Damascus United Methodist Church
Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services. You can engage with others and find places for your whole family to connect. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
WORSHIP
God's word is at the center of worship and learning at DUMC. We put the Bible to work. Our worship services include reading and interpreting the messages of the bible to our lives today. It forms the background of most of our hymns and liturgy.
Sundays 9:00 am- 10:00 am
Faith Time - 10:15 am - 11:15 am
A selection of small group sessions for all ages
The Bible is the story of the one God, who stands in covenant relationship with God's people. We believe that the Bible is vital to our faith and life. God speaks to us through the bible and it contains all things necessary for Salvation. We hold that scripture is inspired by God. The authority of Scripture derives from the movement of God's Spirit in times past and in our reading of it today.
